The drama is based off Lucy Maud Montgomery's novels Anne of Green Gables, published in 1908. Amybeth McNulty, born 7 November 2001, is the daughter of her Canadian father and an Irish mother. Amybeth was born on 7th of November, 2001 in Ireland. At the age of 2023, Amybeth turns 20 years old. Her family was raised in Donegal County, Ireland. She has both Irish citizenship and Canadian citizenship. She has blonde hair. Anne has also had a complicated connection and a complicated relationship with Gilbert Blythe who was two years older than Anne and was also studying at her level having had his schooling stopped when his father fell ill. At their first encounter in school, Gilbert was known to tease Anne by giving her the nickname Carrots. Amybeth McNulty's Anne is a thirteen year old girl who had an unforgiving childhood living in orphanages and other the homes of strangers. Anne finds herself sent in Prince Edward Island in late 1890s. She lives there alongside Matthew Cuthbert and Marilla Cuthbert. They're all very happy when the series is over at the end of 1919.
